Obituary of Rose Borrelli

Mrs. Rose (Copplo) Borrelli, 98, formerly of Waterbury, died Friday evening Feb. 22, 2008 at the Middlebury Convalescent Home in Middlebury. She was the widow of Sal Borrelli. Mrs. Borrelli was born in Waterbury, Jan. 23, 1910 and had been a lifelong resident. She was a former member of the YWCA Girls Club and enjoyed Dancing, Swimming and telling jokes.She leaves her daughter, Phyllis Marciano and her husband Joe of Southbury; two grandsons, Jay Marciano of Silver Springs, Md. And Gerard Marciano of Tarrytown, N.Y.; 2 great-granddaughters, Amelia Rose Marciano and Sasha Claire Marciano. She was predeceased by her son, Anthony Marciano. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. from the Mulville Funeral Home, 270 West main St. at Holmes Ave. to St. John of the Cross Church, Middlebury for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury.
