Obituary of Alice Barratt

East Hartford - Alice Barratt, 85, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2008 at Hartford Hospital with her family by her side. Mrs. Barratt was a resident of East Hartford, CT, however she previously lived in Williamsport, PA and Cheshire, CT. Mrs. Barratt was born on June 4, 1922 in Barnsley, Yorkshire, England and came to this country in 1965. Mrs. Barratt was the daughter of William and Agnes Cadman. She was predeceased by her parents, her sister, Mabel, her brother, Kenneth, her son, Niel, and her husband of 49 years, Fred. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Stephan Barratt and his wife, Louise, of Hamden, CT, her daughter, Jacqueline Frank, of East Hartford, CT, and her daughter-in-law, Tina Barratt, of Welling, Kent, England as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews, all of whom reside in England or Cypress. Arrangements Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you send a donation to the charity of your choice in Mrs. Barratts memory. The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire is in charge of arrangements.
