Obituary of Clayton Sorbie
Clayton George Sorbie, 4 months old, went to sleep peacefully in the arms of his loving parents Sunday March 9th 2008 at the University of Conn. Health Center NICU. Clayton was born October 23, 2007 100 days premature weighing only 15 oz. He had a strong will to live but his wee body could not sustain. He never left the NICU but he was a world traveler being prayed for all over the world. He touched so many hearts during his short time here. . .He was the son of George W. Sorbie Jr and Julie (Graveline) Sorbie of Plymouth CT. Grandson of Linda Swaby of Waterbury and Mairi M. and Peter Gray of Tucson AZ. Nephew of Lynn and Mathew Sency ofVaii AZ, Jamie Rodriguez, Charlie Graveline, Keith and Bobby Swaby, and Godson of Lori Needham all of Waterbury. Clayton was predeceased by two brothers Alec Clayton and Ian George, and Grandfathers Roger Graveline and Hopeton Swaby.The family would like to express their sincerest appreciation to all the Jen's, nurses, doctors and staff of the NICU for their kindness and heartfelt care. A memorial service will be held Monday March 17th at 7:30pm at the Congregational Church of Naugatuck, Division St. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. is in charge of arrangements.
