Obituary of Joanna Graziosa

Mrs. Joanna (Levenduski) Graziosa, 95, of Cheshire died Sunday March 30, 2008 at the Elim Park Baptist Home. She was the widow of Albert C. Graziosa. Mr. and Mrs. Graziosa were married for 60 years.Mrs. Graziosa was born June 15, 1912 in Arnot, Pa. a daughter of the late Anthony and Helen (Harzinski) Levenduski and was a longtime Cheshire resident. She was the Dietary Manager at Doolittle School retiring after many years of service. She enjoyed bingo, crocheting and traveling. The family wishes to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the staff of Elim Park Baptist Home where Joanna resided for the past seven years for their loving care, friendship and support. She is survived her son Robert B. Graziosa and his wife Carol of Cheshire, a sister, Eleanor Trojanoski of Branford, her grandsons, Jonathon Graziosa of Cheshire, David Graziosa and his wife Cullen of Colorado and Steven Graziosa and his wife Julie of Colorado, her granddaughter, Susan (Graziosa) Hobbs and her husband Marc of Kansas, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Allan Graziosa. Joanna held a very special fondness in her heart for her great grandson Anthony Jon (AJ) Graziosa with whom she enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, laughter and love.Funeral services for Mrs. Graziosa will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Slater Funeral Home 242 South Main Street, Cheshire to St. Bridget Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery in North Haven.
