Obituary of Suzan D'Antonio

Hamden Suzan M. DAntonio, 46, of Treadwell St., passed away Saturday March 29, 2008 at her home. Suzan was born June 3, 1961 in New Haven, the daughter of Raymond and Judith (Burns) DAntonio of Cheshire. She graduated Loomis Chaffee School in 1979 where she was the Captain of Girls Ice Hockey team and member of the soccer, softball and lacrosse teams. She was a 1983 graduate of Elmira College where she developed an interest in Veterinary Medicine. For the past 23 years, she has worked as a Certified Veterinary Technician for Veterinary Associates of Westville. She shared her life openly and freely with everyone and will be fondly remembered always for her passion care and devotion to the field of Veterinary Medicine as well as everyone she ever knew. Besides her loving parents, Suzan is survived by her devoted brother Mark of Hamden; her former husband Ron Zuk of Hamden; her loving companion Dr. Brian Sullivan of Harwinton; and her many aunts, uncles, cousins and loving pets. Arrangements - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday April 3, 2008 at 11 a.m. at St. Bridget Church, 175 Main St. Cheshire. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Slater Funeral Home, 242 S. Main St., Cheshire.
