Dear Daunis Family, I would like to extend my sincere condolences to each of you. Although we are not acquainted personally, however, we are acquainted with the pain of losing a loved one in death. It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away our loved ones. And when it happens, the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold our loved ones can be most difficult to bear. That pain is not necessarily erased by being told that our loved one are up in heaven. The Bible, however, holds out a much different hope. A key to enduring this suffering is knowing that the Bible teaches that 'there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous' (Acts 24;15), that those sleeping in the graves will come forth and have the opportunity to live forever in Jehovah GodÂ’s new world right here on earth. (John 5;28,29; Rev. 21;3,4; Psalm 83;18) While grief at the loss of Doris is great, joy at receiving Doris and all of our loved ones in the resurrection will be greater. (Mark 5;42) Please read and draw strength from God's promises during this difficult time and the days to come. Take care,
