Dear McMillen Family Members: On behalf of the BOard of trustees and staff of the Connecticut Community Foundation, I wish to express our deep sympathy at the death of Russ. As you noted during the lovely memorial service, Russ was truly a gentleman and always positive. I was honored to have known him both through the Foundation and personally. He was actively involved in the fund he and Jo established here at the Foundation in memory of their daughter. He enjoyed reviewing the applications and having lunch with the recipients and was very adept at making the girls feel at ease and welcome. His wonderful sense of humor always broke the ice. We at the Foundation will work to keep the generous legacy of Russ and Jo alive through their fund here. Please let us know if you would like to receive notifications of the scholarship awards.
