My deepest sympathy to to family of Mrs. Casey. There are very few people that come into our lives that we can honestly say leave such a lasting impression upon us. Your Mom was one of those people. She was my third grade teacher at Prospect Street School,38 years ago, and I loved her more than any other teacher I have ever known.She taught us more than reading, and writing, she taught us by her example,kindness,caring and compassion toward others, which are the greatest lessons of all. I have often thought of your Mom fondly over the years,and often discussed with her former students how much we ALL loved her so much.Please know that she impacted more lives than you will ever know, and a piece of her will be with each and every student she taught.
