My deepest sympathy to to family of Mrs. Casey. There are very few people that come into our lives that we can honestly say leave such a lasting impression upon us. Your Mom was one of those people. She was my third grade teacher at Prospect Street School,38 years ago, and I loved her more than any other teacher I have ever known. She taught us more than reading, and writing, she taught us by her example, kindness, caring and compassion toward others, which are the greatest lessons of all. I have often thought of your Mom fondly over the years, and often discussed with her former students how much we ALL loved her so much. Please know that she impacted more lives than you will ever know, and a piece of her will be with each and every student she taught. With sincere condolences, Lisa(Desrochers) Sweet

With my deepest sympathy to Mrs. Casey's family. She was my third grade teacher at Prospect Street School. Mrs. Casey inspired me to become a teacher, and I have never forgotten her kind and encouraging ways throughout my own 22 years of teaching. She will always have a special place in my heart and memories. 'FOR A TEACHER TO LIVE FOREVER IN THE HEART AND MEMORY OF EVEN A SINGLE CHILD IS THE BEST TRIBUTE OF ALL.' (afi quote)

To the family of Mrs. Casey, My most favorite teacher-Mrs. Elliott. Third grade, Prospect Street School. How I idolized her. I can still picture her walking around the classroom. She wore those strange, rubber shoes. She was so tall-at least in the eyes of this third grader. When I was promoted to fourth grade, I cried. My Mom asked her to speak to me as I did not want to go to Mrs. Swanson's fourth grade. I pretented to be sick so I didn't have to go to school. She was a remarkable lady!! You were lucky to have such a great Mom! Please accept my condolences. Sincerely, Joan Pilch Chipokas Class of 1963

None of you know me, but Mrs Casey use to work with my mother, Connie Nitowski, at Prospect St. School many years ago. I went to St Francis School and when we were off, my mother use to bring me to Prospect Street with her. Mrs. Casey use to ler me hang out in her classroom and help her. When my mother and Mrs. Casey had a project for school and would work together, my mother would bring me to Mrs. Casey's house to play while they worked. My mother passed away in 1971 at a very young age, and Mrs. Casey was so nice and supportive to us. I remember her fondly. You are lucky to have had her for so long. My condolences to your family. Barbara Nitowski Molyneaux
