Dear Aunt Mary and Cousin David, I am thinking about you today as you attend the funeral of Uncle Son. Such memories I have of growing up with him, always happy and smiling. As a small child I remember him taking me to Savin Rock for a day of fun. And his Christmas gift to me of a box of coal. Next year I got him back with a box of horse poops. I'll never forget his kidding me about Hopalong Cassiday, my favorite cowboy, how he was so old they had to dig a hole for Topper to get into so Hoppy could mount him!
