To The Silverman Family, When I saw this beautiful picture of your Mom, your Wife, I was happy. It was always the way I remembered Mrs. Silverman - a vibrant, elegant, and gracious woman. She was always very thoughtful and personal in every way to me whether I was five years old or forty. And her smile was always so lovely and captivating; she was truly a beautiful woman both inside and out. I cannot physically be in Connecticut to offer my support but my heart is with all of you, Lynn, Mr. Silverman, Karen,Debbie,Roy and David and all of the family members. It is a sad time, yet your Mom, your Wife is now peaceful. Your strength to bear this sadness lies in the truth that she will always remain a part of who you are, what you do, what you say, how you think, and how you lead the rest of your life. How lucky to have had such a unique woman to call Mom, to call your Wife. So, as my friend, Lynn told me several years ago in so many words, something good comes out of something not so pleasant. Her passing is not pleasant. Yet the strong values, ethics, and character she leaves in you are uncompromising. They are everlasing gifts to be nourished and cherished. Love, Linda and Mom Eleanor

Dear Oscar, Lynn, Karen, Debbie, Roy & David, I am so saddened to hear about your Mom passing away, and equally sad I can't be with you at this time (I am emailing you all from Chicago). I loved your Mom so much, and am recalling the fond memories of her welcoming demeanor and sweet, smiling face as she prepared me something special to eat whenever we had a meeting at her & Oscar's home in Cheshire. I will miss her very much, even though she and her love will live on forever within all of us who were blessed to know her. She was truly a beautiful woman, and you are all fortunate to have been a part of her family. With much love, Alan

To Lynn and Her Family: Condolences from Celebration, FL to all of you at this sad time. I know you are going to miss your Mom very much. I remember visiting your family when we were home from the University of Miami. I had met your Mom and Dad, in Florida, earlier. I enjoyed being in their company and remember how easy it was to talk with them - all of my friends did not have such talkative parents! Your Mom was the warmest and sweetest and made your college friend from New Haven feel right at home. When you have talked about her Lynn, it always made me feel sunny. We wish you peace as you celebrate her life and strive to live with your loss. Love, Cherie and Vincent
