Obituary of Scot Farley

NAUGATUCK- Mr. Scot Ralph Farley, 50 of 86 Kingswood Rd., passed away Wednesday Dec. 9, 2009 at the Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Darlene (Babjak) Farley. Scot was born in Bridgeport, Dec. 13, 1958, a son of James Farley and the late Gladys (Castelot) Farley and was a graduate of Ansonia High School. He was employed by Local 478 International Union of Operating Engineers of Meriden, retiring in 2004 with over 25 years of service. He was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Naugatuck. He was a member of several Masonic organization. He was raised in George Washington Lodge, A.F.& A.M. in Ansonia and later affiliated with King Hiram Lodge # 12 A.F. & A.M. in Shelton. He was a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of New Haven and the Lafayette Consistory 32nd Degree, Valley of Bridgeport. He was also a member of the Miamogue Yacht Club of Bridgeport and was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast. He enjoyed snowmobiling, Quading, and Fishing Besides his father of Madison, ME and his wife of 28 years, he leaves two daughters, Krystal Farley and her boyfriend Chris Dwight and Mirissa Farley and her boyfriend Eraldo Kodra; one brother James Farley of Solon, ME; 2 sisters Rosemary deWarga of West Haven and Bonnie Lucas of Niantic and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves his two Chihuahua's, Paco and Roxy. Friends may call at the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. on Monday Dec. 14th from 4 p.m to 8p.m.. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 pm Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Members of King Hiram Lodge will conduct a Masonic service at the funeral home at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Conn.
