Cindy, Michael and Joan: It has been many years since our Jaycee days, and I will always remember David with that great smile on his face, such a wonderful host and generous person; always attentive to his children and his guests - even when Joan and I would be up all night at the house, drinking coffee and typing (yes, on a typewriter) one important paper after another. My sincere condolences to Cindy, Michael and his beautiful granddaughter - I know that his legacy of kindness and generosity is living on in all of you. I won't be able to be at the wake or funeral, but will be thinking of you all. God Bless, Sharon Tarca

I graduated high school with David and we renewed our friendship in Jaycee's. Through many projects and parties, David was always the center of the fun. He was a kind, caring and understanding soul. The world is less without him. Sincere condolences to his children, Joan and his family. Although I will not be able to attend the services, please know that my love is with you all.

I remember baby sitting for David's children when I was in high school, just about every Saturday night! He was always happy and a very kind person. The first year I went to nursing school he let me borrow his car since I would baby sit for the kids sometimes. One weekend I was about to come home and the car broke down in Bridgeport, I called him and he said, "Don't worry, I will come get you and we will worry about the car later!" Things did not seem to bother him. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Leslie Toth Foerster

The Harrison family is one of the finest families I have ever known. When I was young I spent some summer getaways with Aunt Marj and Uncle Ed. They took me on rides on their airplane and we spent time at Candlewood Lake. The plane rides probably inspired me to join the Naval Air Corps in WWII. Then Sylvia (my wife) and I always stopped at the Lake on our return from vacations in Maine. David was the ultimate host taking us out in his speedboat and offering us the maximum in hospitality. Aunt Marj was there at the time and they were very memorable occasions. I always thought that David had an excellent mind to go with his wonderful personality. I have now lost 50% of my first cousins so we have to keep Marnie in good shape. David will certainly be missed by his family and friends. We know that God will welcome him with open arms. (John 14) God Bless the children and Marnie. Robert Day, St.Peters, PA. ( 50 miles West of Philadelphia)

Rest in peace David. Having graduated with you from DHS, I can still see your Dad's hearse pulling up to the school. What a stir it would make! And such good times. Again during our business years, I see you coming in as a customer and then I became your customer. I'm grateful for knowing you and for taking such good care of my parent's arrangements. Thank you... To David's family A wonderful man. So sorry for your loss...
