Back in the 90's four gals came together to study a Bible course together so we could be trained up for a ministry to hurting women. Mary, Gerri, Barbara and Margie.... we came together in a unique way, laughter til it hurt, praying til the miracles and healings came, serious discussions, lighthearted discussions. What an adventure we had and how we loved the women we helped. Mary had always wanted a sister, and we made a pack that we were definitely unequivically 'four' sisters-in-the-Lord. We love one another's children and pray for them still. I moved away, actually I think I've had three moves from my CT days, but God always blessed me a few times a year where I could make my way back to CT and visit and see my sisters and the gap in time would just disappear. My husband and I dropped in on Mary a couple of months ago, she seemed to always bounce back; we were actually planning to visit the very day God took her home. Dear family, I'm sure your grief is acute, but we all have to agree, how can you even think of your mom/grandma and not have hope, hope in Jesus, hope in the resurrection, hope in seeing her again. Because that is what Mary was all about - hope, faith and love. Be blessed by her God and your God. How blessed you all are to have had her for a mom/grandma. My prayers are with you for your comfort and peace, sweet family. love, Phil and Margie Langsdorf

Mary, Gerri and Barbara loved to go to the beach to sit and look at the ships, water, seagulls and people enjoying the day. Gerri was the navigator. Only she knew the secrets of finding the wonderful, public beaches along the coast with boardwalks and benches. One day, Gerri couldn't make it, so Mary and Barbara decided they would tackle this mystery on their own. After all, how complicated could this be? Off they went with their Bibles, water, some snacks and a map. 3 hours later (this should have been, at most, an hour and a half ride), they pulled into a parking area with a mini beach, no boardwalk or benches. We did get to sit on the beach and talk with a young man about the Lord, which redeemed our crazy, hot ride. However, we vowed never to venture into the mystery of the wonderful beaches without our Gerri. We would remember that ride for years to come and always had a good laugh.

I never knew anyone who Loved the Lord more than Mary. Even in her times of obvious discomfort, Mary still Praised the Lord and gave thanks to him. She found the strength to always help others and bring them to the Lord. I know her reward will be ten fold. Rest in Peace Mary. Our condolences to the Santo family. Sue Mike Laura and Michael
