Obituary of Mary Santo

TERRYVILLE- Mary Catherine Santo, 73, passed away May 12, 2012 at Countryside Manor in Bristol. She was predeceased by her husband Vincent J. Santo whom she was married to for fifty two years. She was born December 8, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA daughter of the late James and Mildred (Selfridge)Hand. Mary worked as a Vocational Coordinator at D.A.T.H.R in Danbury prior to her retirement. She was the former President of Waterbury Women's Aglow, and the Director of Open Arms Ministry and a member of Christ Church in Wolcott. She is survived by two sons Vincent Santo III of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Daniel Santo of Danbury; two daughters Jeanne and her husband William Ronewicz of Terryville, and Sharon Manouse of Waterbury; a sister Noreen Hand of Gurley, AL; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Arrangements- A service for Mary will be held Saturday May 19, 2012 at 10 A.M at Christ Church, 16 Townline Road, Wolcott, 06716. A private burial of her ashes will be held at All Saints Cemetery, 203 Spring Lake Road, Waterbury. Calling hours will be held at church from 9 A.M until the service begins at 10 A.M.
