I had the honor of meeting and serving with Walter on board the USS Anzio for four years and was deeply shocked and saddened to hear of walts passing.I have no particular story to share only that of how great of a person he was and how kind and gentle he was as well as hard working.He loved music and was great at it.My thoughts and prayers go out to Walter's entire family and he will be missed.REST IN PEACE SHIPMATE and may your soul and spirit ride the waves to heaven.
