My wife Loretta and I were fortunate to visit with Helga on two or three occasions over the past five years during stopovers in Cheshire, where my siblings and I were raised. She was a wonderful, warm person, with a kind and generous heart. My brother Mike and I, and our parents, got to know the Schreitmueller family very well during the mid-1960s when Mike and I played in a band with Jack. Back then, Mr. & Mrs. Schreitmueller graciously opened their home to the band to practice almost every weekend. To this day I wonder how they so cheerfully put up with the noise we generated and the snacks we consumed. With fond memories, and heartfelt condolences to Bob and Jack, may your mother rest in peace.
