Dear Nugent Family, I worked with Brian for a number of years while I was at Pratt & Whitney. Brian was a man of institutional wisdom, helpful insight and disarming humor. It was great working with him and I am very sorry to hear that he has passed away. Please accept my sincere condolences. May the peace and grace of Jesus fill your hearts with comfort beyond what you can ask or think. There will be a better day - a day of reunions and laughter - very soon. Jesus is coming again.

Dear Members of the Nugent Family: Our sincerest condolences on Brian's passing; he was in our CYO group at OLOV in West Haven in the early 70's and is godfather to our younger son Jason. We were honored and privileged to have him in that role. We watched him play football at WHHS and UNH over the years and always admired his grit and determination. Most importantly we were impressed by his character and honesty in his interactions with us over the years. We saw him as recently as last winter at a basketball game in Hamden that our oldest granddaughter was playing in and he was the same as we knew him those many years ago.
