Dear Family, I was sad to read of Joan's dead in the New Haven Register. Joan and I work together for many years when she was with the Yale University Office of Facilities and I was with the Yale University Office of the Fire Marshal. She was always there to help when we needed assistance. Joan was a good person and I missed working with her when I left in 2004. You take care. Doug Golden

Evening Mike and Frank: Shirley and I are saddened to hear the news that Mom went to be with the Lord. IWe know she hasn't been well for a while but the sadness of losing someone you love can't be cushioned by anything we can say or do. Luckily God gave us memories to fill our hearts when we think of the dearly departed. May the memories in your hearts focus on all the good times and love you shared with mom.
