So sorry for your loss. Uncle Laddy was always at the Bristol Mum Festival parade. He liked very much to hear St. Peter's Drum Corps. Almost every year that we marched, I would see him, sometimes get to speak with him too. He will be missed by all.

Our sympathy to all of Laddy's family. Although we have not seen him in many years, I would get updates from my sisters who would visit with him on their trips to Conn. I am so very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He was always a generous, loveable man, cheerful and smiling. When my husband and I built our house, he let us dig up a Rose of Sharon sapling that had started growing in an inopportune spot in his yard: beneath and between the rungs of the pool ladder. It was a torrential downpour that day, more like a monsoon. We had little hope it would survive its extraction, much less the ride home and transplant process. It's been 12 years, and that sapling is now one of the most beautiful specimens in our yard, attracting butterflies, bumblebees and hummingbirds. I have, and always will remember Mr. D whenever I admire those beautiful blooms. Mary & Norm Beland
