Obituary of Lynn Allen Deming, Sr.

CHESHIRE – Mr. Lynn Allen Deming Sr., 78, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital, Waterbury. He was the husband of the late Patricia (Smith) Deming. Mr. Deming was born July 30, 1936 in Bristol, the son of the late Allen and Erna (Deckert) Deming. He was a proud Veteran serving his country in the U.S. Air Force. A longtime Cheshire resident, Mr. Deming was a member of Cheshire Kiwanis Club. He is survived by his daughter Christiane Rahuba and her husband Gregg of Thomaston and their son Gregg Rahuba Jr.; his son Mark Deming and his children Ryan, Kyle and Chad Deming; his granddaughter Katherine and her 3 children; his sisters Barbara Anderson and Faye Deming; his long time companion Carol Rumino, as well as 3 nieces and a nephew. Mr. Deming is predeceased by his eldest son Lynn Allen Deming Jr. Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 24, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
