To The Campion Family:
I was a student of Mr. Campion at Wallace Middle School (1973-1977). I was also a grateful student. My dad was a fireman in Wtby. I recall a fire that my father was seriously injured in, and as a matter of coincidence or of mutual respect, an ambulance happened to be in our neighborhood of East Mountain, and they took my mom to the hospital to be with my dad. I think the driver of the ambulance was Harold..... Mr. Campion asked how my dad was doing the next day, in school....
Our sincerest wishes, greatest appreciation, and with sympathy, our best prayers.......
Thanks......

Dear Campion family,
I recently moved from Cheshire and for many years was a member of Physique Plus and enjoyed Ned's regular morning welcome. I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing.
He certain was the beloved "mayor", always an upbeat, kind greeting. He'd put a smile on your face, even at 5am.
My deepest condolences.
