Shelly and family moved across the street from us 35 years ago when I was 8 years old. Our families immediately became family and Shelly became my sisters and I's second mom. She became my mom's best friend and has remained that way for 35 years. Shelly welcomed everyone with a big hug and a warm smile, she was a hard worker who would do anything for family and friends. I will miss hearing her laugh and seeing her smile, we will always be family. Heaven is a much brighter place with her in it!!

I'm truly sorry to hear of Shelly's passing. We went to school together for Medical coding at Branford hall. I will always remember her smile and helping others. We would often talk from time to time especially after she fell and broke her ankle on the ice. She made such beautiful things and inspired me to learn crocheting!! I know from my heart that she will be a guardian angel looking down on the people that have touched her life! I wish I could be at her service today but I'm leaving for Florida. I would of loved to have met her family that she loved so very much and alway talked about. Although she is gone Shelly will always live in our hearts ❤️ Forever! It's never goodbye but until we meet again! My deepest condolences to your family. Valerie Morris

Although I never met Shelly in person, I had a wonderful conversation with her over the phone early-on in her illness. The light that is Shelly came through to me and I know that I was speaking with an exceptional lady. May the light that Shelly was never go out; but, may ever be rekindled in everyone whom she touched with her loving kindness.
