Obituary of Henry Michael Boylan, Jr.
WATERBURY- Henry Michael “Mike” Boylan Jr., 70, passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at Hartford Hospital. He was the loving husband of Diane M. (Sullivan) Boylan, whom he was married to for 44 years.
Mr. Boylan was born December 15, 1944 in Waterbury to the late Henry Michael Sr. and Emma (Lent) Boylan.
Henry served in the United States Navy, and was a Firefighter for the City of Waterbury prior to his retirement. Mr. Boylan was the P.E.R (Past Exalted Ruler) of the Waterbury Elks Lodge B.P.O.E # 265. Above all Henry will always be known for spending time with his family that he adored. In his free time he was an avid reader.
Besides his loving wife he is survived by his sister Mary (Boylan) Wilkinson of Ansonia; and countless loving Nieces and Nephews.
Arrangements- Henry’s funeral will start 9 A.M Wednesday November 25, 2015 from The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury, 270 West Main St, 06702 and proceed to St. Francis Xavier Church, 625 Baldwin St, Waterbury, CT 06706, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. Burial with full Military Honors will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 4 to 7 P.M at the funeral home.
