Karen, I was so sorry to hear that your mother had passed away. She was such a dear friend to my mother for nearly all their lives, and also to my father, especially since my own Mom's death. My condolences to you and your family.

Am sure God knows his newest angel will keep Him entertained. Aunt Denise was one-of-a-kind with a ready smile & comments. I will miss our periodic lunches at the Curtis House in Woodbury. She loved her desserts & always looked forward to eating my chocolate parfait since I couldn't consume sugar. Lots of fond memories of this delightful Irish dynamo. Will never forget M. Denise Kennedy.

Karen, hugs to you and yours on the loss of a wonderful mom. I have great memories of her:drum corps days with the Falcons, at the bank and then a volunteer at Saint Mary's. Mom was indeed beautiful in and out: we are all better for having her in our lives. The angel who met on earth is now in heaven watching over us. Hold tight to your memories, take them out as often as you like and let them keep a smile in hour heart. Treasure how blessed you were to have her as a mom. Hugs, Lynn
If you need me I am a phone call away.
Mom was someone way to special to ever forget :)

To the family of Denise Kennedy, Denise was a friend of mine and I would have nice conversations when we would have breakfast at Friendly's on Watertown Ave. She remembered me from coming into the bank when she worked there. I started having breakfast at Friendly's and she would come in each morning like clock work. I would be there already with my grandson having breakfast getting ready to take him to school when we finished. She and her girlfriend Cindy we all had some good conversations mornings at Friendly's. She would always tell me when she had to go up to Old Saybrook to babysit her grandchildren and watch the house.
May God comfort you in your time of sorrow, and keep you in his care.
Her friend, Frank Hunter

Lou and Karen,
Jeff and I are so sorry for your loss. Your mom, Karen was quite a woman- with a smile on her face and a hug ready to give everytime I saw her. She brought so much joy and was so happy whenever she was with you and Lou and the kids and all the excitement that brought. The two of you were quite the pair and my heart breaks for you and the journey you will walk as the new normal sets in. Please know there are hundreds of people that love you all and are here for you. Whether they have walked this road or because they felt the love you and your mom shared - we are here for you and the family. Your mom and your relationship was so special and unique. Lou and you were so lucky to have such a beautiful soul to call mom.❤️
Mike, Mark and Megan,
Our hearts are broken by your loss. We have so many memories of seeing your grandma at your sports games, school functions - really any time we saw your family your grandma was right there cheering you on. She was so proud and so involved in all things each of you did- just like you would want a grandma to be. She was the best and will be missed so much. We are holding you all so close in our hearts and in our prayers. We love you and are comforted knowing your grandma is with your grandpa and they are both watching over you. Keep making them proud❤️

She truly loved her family and her grands were her pride and joy. May God bless and comfort you during this very difficult time.
