Vin and Marcia Cianciolo posted a condolence

Margaret and Cindy,
Marcia and I are so sorry we were unable to attend George's services due to our being in Florida. I feel quite badly as I have nothing of very fond remembrances of him and of course all the great times we spent together with the rest of the family, Uncle George, Aunt Edie and Cindy. Much of that time together was at the Lake Harwinton house where we spent countless days swimming, boating and fishing in the summer and ice skating in the winter. George was a fantastic ice skater and I could never outrun him if I had antagonized him and he was chasing after me, a somewhat frequent occurrence! I'll always remember his prized possession, his green MG roadster and his great love of that car, even though it didn't always start! I remember how George stood up against Patsy Strano to protect me when I was in grammar school. Patsy was a huge guy, briefly played professional football and there was something I did to make him threaten me. I'm sure it was entirely my fault but in any event George let Patsy know that if he touched me that he was going to have to answer to him! Patsy never bothered me again. Mostly I will always just remember George for what he was, a great guy and terrific cousin to me and of course my brother Larry. Larry and George always had a special bond that remained to the day Larry passed away. Even in recent years before Larry's passing, they loved getting together to fish. I think they would have gotten together even more frequently if they didn't live so far apart and weren't so busy with their various activities.
Our families were always so close. My mother and Aunt Edie loved each other and did many, many things together throughout their lives. Even going to McDonalds in the morning for breakfast in their older years. I think it's a shame we've all grown apart due to our geographic separation and just being busy with our own lives and immediate families. I can tell you that there will always be a warm place in my heart for Georgie, Lucinda, Uncle George and Aunt Edie.
Your obituary was beautiful and captured all the things that were important to George and what his life was about. Marcia and my thoughts are with you both at this difficult time.
All my love,
Cousin Vin
