My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. I am so sorry for your loss. Kathleen was so kind and welcoming when I moved to CT. in 2008. I didn't know a soul and was looking to find people to play tennis. Kathleen befriended me and introduced me to the tennis gals. I don't think she ever realized how much I appreciated her. She included me on her team and invited me and my family into her home. Our boys became friendly and still remain in touch to this day. I will never forget the amazing lobster feast we were invited to at her home. Although our time in CT. was short, I will always be grateful that our paths crossed. She adored her children and husband and she was a great person. May care and love of those around you provide comfort and peace to get you through the days ahead. My most sincere condolences.

Still in shock from the news. My heart goes out to you all. I have such fond memories of Kathleen when I used to teach the Kayla & Hannah voice lessons and Greg taught Jason drums. Dear Dr. Hipona, Jason, Kayla and Hannah, I was very saddened to learn of your loss. I remember Kathleen best as a mom. I can still picture her arriving to pick Jason and Kayla up after school with Hannah in tow. She was always very friendly, up beat and wearing a smile. And on the go! Lots of energy! I remember Kathleen as one of Deirdre's older sisters when I came to stay in Cheshire from the UK when I was 13yrs old. When Facebook arrived I was able to follow Kathleen and see images of her beautiful family and witness her running achievements from across the ocean. As a close friend of Dee I feel deeply saddened by the loss of her sister. I hope to console Kathleen's children, husband, and all the Corcoran family and close friends at this difficult time.
