Obituary of Donald Archambault

WOLCOTT- Donald Robert Archambault, age 80, of Wolcott, CT passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Waterbury Hospital. He was born on August 14, 1936 in Waterbury, son of the late Louis E. Archambault, Sr. and Ruth Garrigus Archambault. He was a Veteran of the United States Airforce, serving one year in Alaska and one year in Tripoli. Don worked for a land surveyor for many years, the Lake Drive-In Snack Bar and also worked part-time for Stop & Shop. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox. Don is survived by his brothers, Louis Archambault, Jr. of Wolcott, Richard Archambault of Delray Beach, FL., Raymond Archambault of Vero Beach FL., and James Archambault of Cheshire; his sisters, Flora Ayers and Elaine Roberts of Wolcott; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Amelia Upton and his brother, Joseph Archambault. The family would like to thank the DaVita Dialysis staff for the wonderful care Don had for the past nine years. Arrangements- Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 11AM in New Pine Grove Cemetery, 850 Meriden Road, Waterbury, with Rev. Sue Strachan of the Wolcott Congregational Church officiating. (Please meet directly at the cemetery.)
