My sincerest condolences upon the loss of Dick. As a former colleague of Marie at Wilbur Cross High School. I had the pleasure of having Marie and Dick accompany my husband and me on a school trip to Italy as one of many student tours to Italy I planned as an Italian teacher. They both enjoyed themselves immensely. And after we all retired from teaching, I often met up with them at our monthly retirement breakfasts.Over all these years, the love Dick and Marie had for each other was so evident and a beautiful thing to witness, It was a pleasure to call him a friend of mine.

Marie and family - I was so sorry to hear about the loss of Dick. I have many fond memories growing up at 228 of hanging out in your house, chatting with him while he was busy on a house project or working in the garden out back. My father and I reminisced today about the number of times we borrowed a ladder or tools from him, and his generous spirit. He certainly was the "fix it" guy! Marie, Doreen, Rick and the wonderful Fadus clan, I remember Mr. Fadus most at various times Rick and Doreen had parties on their screened in porch looking out on the back yard. Often, Mr. Fadus and Rick would be walking around working on some project, or Rick would be receiving counsel on how to go about doing a certain project. It was always obvious to me the great affection the Fadus family had for each other and I'm sure one of Dick's greatest joys, and surely his greatest success, was having all his children enjoy and love each other right into adulthood and become such good people. Marie and Dick; what a tribute to you and your love for each other. I'm sure he will be helping with repairs when needed on the pearly gates and that he has already connected with a certain two friends when he heard Joyce's voice cutting through the angels' song...."Jaaaaaaaack!!!" Please accept my most heartfelt sympathy and I am so sorry for your loss. I know he will be sorely missed.

Conversations with Dick were always something he "leaned into", you know, like you were the one special person meant for that particular topic. I always got the conversation sharing on the "fix-it's". I got to share, second hand, in all the many projects at Carmody Road- Dick doing the project management, Rick managing the flashlight. I'm surprised that Dick didn't become a senior associate at Home Depot. I think I'll be there some day- on my scooter and will think of Dick Fadus as speed down the aisles...

To our dear friend, Marie, & her wonderful family....We send our deepest sympathy & prayers at this sad time. We've known the Fadus's for yrs. They were like family to our son, Paul, and his wife, Pam, where they were neighbors for a long time on Crescent Circle in Chesire. Rose and I were saddened to learn of Dick's passing. Our condolences to Marie and the whole family. I worked many years with Dick and always knew him to be a soft spoken man who loved his family immensely. He was a good, honest and decent man and will be missed by all who knew him.
