Please accept our sincere sympathy on the passing of Gerry Corcoran. He was a very likeable man who had an excellent sense of humor. He was an icon in Cheshire-a well-liked teacher and principal. He knew every child's name at Chapman School when he was there...quite an amazing feat!! He loved the chikdren and they him. Having worked as a teacher under Gerry's leadership, I can safely say the teachers loved him as well. He leaves quite a legacy behind with his family. It was our pleasure to know Gerry and Dorie, and now they are together again. We hope you can find some comfort knowing that. Sincerely, Maryann and Jack Dolan

Please accept my deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers on the passing of Gerald. I met Gerald in September 1987 when I was visiting my great-aunt Ella. I remember him as a kind, quiet, refined gentleman who welcomed me into his home asked me many questions about his ancestoral homeland in the west of Ireland. He was a lovely person and I know will be missed so much by everyone who knew and loved him... I will raise a parting glass in his memory tonight. God speed you on your final journey Gerald.
