Perhaps the funniest story (and one I'll never forget) is when I was moving to an apartment that didn't allow pets, and Larry kindly agreed to take my Siamese cat. I decided to visit and check up on the cat after a week of living with Larry and his several other cats He answered the door in his ever present cut-off jean shorts with FLEA COLLARS WRAPPED AROUND EACH ANKLE Turned out the cats were infested with fleas and the fleas liked Larry more than the cats, because he was covered in flea bites from head to toe!!! Between the vet bills, flea collars, carpet cleaning and the flea extermination, I think his good gesture of taking in my cat cost him $500.00!!! He was the kind of guy that would give you the shirt off his back and he will be missed by all of his family and friends.
