Obituary of Maryann Scinto

CHESHIRE - Maryann Rita Scinto, 65, beloved wife of Peter A. Scinto passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with her family by her side. She was born September 9, 1947 in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late David and Irene (Imrischak) Louis. She worked for AT&T for over 20 years, retiring in 2008 as an Administrative Assistant. She was a kind loving person that always celebrated the important days in her family and friends lives. Her priority was taking care of her family especially her children. She enjoyed traveling to warm weather and beach locations. Besides her husband of 43 years, Maryann is survived by her daughter Alicia C. DiSorbo (Anthony) of Cheshire; her son Bryan P. Scinto of Cheshire; her sister Donna Louis (John) of Milford; her in-laws, Daniel and Linda Scinto of Huntington; her granddaughter, Carina DiSorbo; as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Kathy Staron (Ron) of Huntington. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of Yale Smilow Cancer Center for their devoted care. Arrangements - Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, 9:15 from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. to St. Bridget's Church, Cheshire for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 14 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
