I met Diane in 1966 when Tammy was 6 years old and Jeff was 6 months old. They lived in the apartment in back of Erma's on East Broadway, Milford.
Diane was working at Bic on the 2nd shift. Darrell was still in the Navy.
I babysat and lived with them until 1969. Diane was like a big sister to me. She helped me through many rough times in my life. I was there with her through a few of her own.
She was generous and kind and helped everyone in whatever way they needed.
I remember her home was full of antiques. She had a fabulous garden and loved Dobermans. She crocheted, baked and was a super cook.
I am thankful to have known her. I share this picture of Diane with Tammy and Jeff in 1986 at Tammy's Wedding in Laurel Beach.
