I met Peter while working at PIA and we became fast friends. Most who knew Pete knew his quick wit and great sense of humor, but I was always most impressed by his character. He was chivalrous and kind. He carried himself with dignity and honor. He practiced what he preached and was just the very definition of a good guy. We are all better off for having the privilege of his friendship. Pete, I will miss you buddy, but never forget you.

Dear Bizzozero family, I met Pete at Skidmore College, and though we were good friends at College, different paths didnt allow us to stay in touch. But to this day his kindness, selflessness, and compassion has been an inspiration for me in every day life. You have so much to be proud of in Pete. and though he is no longer with us in physical, he is with all of us who knew him. My best to you, Laurence Wintersteen

I would also like to express my condolences to Pete's family. I met Pete nearly ten years ago when he started working at AAVMC. During that entire time, I have never seen Pete have a bad day. Even during these past few months, he fought hard and he always kept his head up. At times, he even had to make me strong. He always had a smile on his face and he always found a way to make you laugh as well. Pete was always there for all of his friends. You could not asked for a more dependable loyal friend. I already miss him terribly, but I at least feel lucky to have been able to call him my friend.

Our condolences go out to all of your family. Peter will be missed dearly by all of his friends and associates at ATSSA. Just after joining ATSSA, Peter found himself in Phoenix at a symposium and wanted to meet some of the local members. He arranged to come by our office and after talking for just a few minutes I knew that Peter was something special. As president of the AZ ATSSA Chapter we interacted on a couple of occasions. Peter was very professional, but his sense of humor, wit and intelligence set him apart. My wife Martha got to meet Peter at the 2006 Midyear ATSSA in DC and the laughs were non-stop. We will think about Peter often and fondly. Bill and Martha McDaniel

My condolences to the Bizzozero family for the loss of their son and brother. I have known Pete for almost ten years. I first met him when he worked at AAVMC and we became good friends. I will always cherish the memories of all the good times we had, especially when he, Beth, and I hung out in DC. He was part of some of the best times of my life. Pete was truly a great man who always had a smile on his face and lived life to the fullest each day. I am grateful to have seen Pete about four weeks ago when I was passing through DC. He fought a very courageous battle, but it is comforting to know he is now in peace. Pummbly will miss you!!!!

Pete and I shared some of the best 'grown up' moments of my life. Packer game on Monday night at Lambeau Field against the Bears, President's Cup golf tournament, us hacking around on golf courses. I asked him to stand up for me in my wedding, and he did. He was the loyalist of friends. I'll miss the poker games, and the cigars, and the friendship. And the Chairmen will always have one empty chair - at the head of the table. My sincere and deepest condolences to Pete's entire family. I am truly sorry for your loss.
