I met Laura on 1/31/08. I was surprised to see such a energetic, optimistic, young women suffering with such a horrible illness. I was a nursing student who was assigned to work with Laura. She said she was looking forward to talking with me on that Sat. On Sat. when I came in, I was grieved to see that she had a stroke. Laura spoke only briefly with me that Thurs. and told me she had two children. Both were the same ages and sex as my older two children. She was in my heart and prayers since I met her and I shed tears when I learned of her death. I empathize with her family especially her husband and children. Life is too short, I know it is hard and in the brief time I knew her I can tell that heaven gained another angel. My prayers and condolensces with you in your time of grief. I am very sorry for your great loss.

My dearest sympathy goes out to your family. Lori was a wonderful friend to me for a little under 30 years. I have no doubt in my mind she is already in heaven, already with her wings. She was an angel to all of us here while she was here and I know will continue her work now that she has passed. I will miss her dearly.

hey lori..its me..Amy...I don't know where to begin. I have so many wonderful memories of the fun we shared. I'll start with the 1st day we met at St. Joseph's Grammer School. It was the first day of 4th grade and I remember so vividly us standing near that big oak tree, in the playground, introducing yourself to both Ker and I. We knew right then that you were a great person and you were going to be are best friend forever. It's 30 years later and you are and always and will be my Best Friend. God is so lucky to have you as one of his Angels...i love you and we miss you...

I am so sorry for your loss. Lori was a beautiful person inside and out. I am grateful I was able to grow up with her and that I have the memories of our childhood.
